Input. Insight. Inspiration. Innovation in Design
Input, insight, inspiration and innovation in design - these are the words describing the range of topics I would like to cover and share within this blog. Two weeks ago I arrived in London, hungry for cultural, design and art input, ready to experience a vibrant city and start my postgraduate course MA Design Management and Cultures at the London College of Communication.

My last day at Vitra's headquarters in Basel, Switzerland (Hinger, 2018)
Until now, my personal background of working for the design furniture manufacturer Vitra has sharpened my awareness of innovations in a product design field. In order to broaden my horizon, I would like to extend my understanding of design to other areas as well as the impact of design on our lives.
Therefore, within the next three month I will put my attention to different design innovation areas. Within my posts I want to ask questions. Question myself and my perceptions and understanding. Question what I see and experience and the developments I notice. And eventually find answers I can't even think of by now.
The art and science of asking questions is the source of all knowledge. (Berger, no date, quoted in Bell, 2011)
I kindly invite you to follow my weekly blog in which I share inputs, inspirations and questions with you.
